We went sailing in California on two occasions. In spring of 2021 we took some classes through Afterguard Sailing Academy in San Francisco and briefly chartered a catamaran. In November that year we chartered a Catalina 270 in San Diego and sailed from Glorietta Bay briefly out of the San Diego Bay and then returned.

Our route when we chartered the catamaran and sailed with Corrie’s cousin Jimmy.
This was a big step up from Jimmy’s only previous sailing experience, which was beginner sailing on a Sunfish in Lake Manawa in Iowa
